Maybelline Cool Couture and Purple Trend

Hi girls,

I wanted to share with you these two colors that I got a while back discounted from the drugstore. You may still be able to find them in the clearance part. I am sure you have seen these on blogs before but I liked the colors and thought I would share them.

Maybelline Cool Couture...Also has beautiful blue shimmers in the dark blue grey base.

Franken #14: Gold and Coal

Hi girls,

I am excited to show you this new franken. It's a blackened cool gold shimmery jelly, if that is even possible :) I used a pigment from TKB trading called Starlight gold and mixed it with a sheer and a cream black and bits of other shimmer orange and olive colors. Let me know what you think about it :)

Jewelry of the day #1: Beaded Crystal, Metal Bracelet

New type of posts :) Snapshot of a piece of jewelry and brief info. Hope you enjoy these...

This is a beaded bracelet that I assembled. I got the bracelet separate from the beads. All from a hidden crafty section that I found in Walmart a few months ago. It has a combination of crystal and metal beads and I especially love the black ones with embedded pink flowers... I know that a lot of different beads and bracelets are also sold on eBay for very cheap. What do you think about it?

Franken #13 and nail of the day :)

Hi there my lovely readers,

Today's franken is such a beautiful color. It is so me. It is a grayish muted medium purple with subtle shimmers and the base is a happy mixture of cream and jelly. I liked it so much on my nails too. Let me know what you think :)

Annabelle Mono Blushes

A while back, I was hunting down some pretty rosy blushes and I found these by Annabelle. I don't think Annabelle products are found in the US but they are easily found in most drugstores in Canada and the line includes some really nice high quality products.  

The packaging of these blushes is plain but chic. The colors I am showing here are 27 (Don't know the name), 51 (Golden Bronze), 48 (Chestnut). I hate that they don't have names on the packaging itself only in the store. 

27: Matte muted rosy tan color - I can't find this color online, maybe it is discontinued?

51 (Golden Bronze): Bronzy rosy shimmery color

48 (Chestnut): Satin medium rosy color

Although I am pale and these colors look a bit on the dark side, I enjoy them a lot. Here are the swatches:

My Nails Today: OPI Holy Pink Pagoda!

Hi my lovely readers,

I've been feeling a bit down lately. Maybe it is related to the never ending winter or maybe it is due to the fact that I have to finish writing my thesis in a month or so :( I wanted to put on a color that will cheer me up so I chose this OPI color. I think it is discontinued or so. I found it a year ago in the clearance section in London Drugs. It's called "Holy Pink Pagoda!". What name is that?

The color is a beautiful warm shimmery pink which I am not used to but I really like it. It is uplifting and it makes me feel warm even though it is freezing outside. See the snow outside my window...

I have my nails shorter than usual these days and this is not my usual swatch hand which is why the pictures are not that pretty...

What do you think about this color? Do you like to wear summery colors in the winter?

Franken #12: Me and my muted greens

Hi girls,

Today I have a new Franken color for you. It is a very beautiful muted grayish green. I can't get over my love for muted grayish colors :) All my swatches are one coat without top coat. That's why this color is not so shiny but it is very beautiful on the nails :)

What do you think? Do you also like muted colors?
