Franken #6: Beige with Silver flex

Today's franken is in my opinion a very beautiful and elegant color. It is a mixture of taupe and beige with silver glass flex. Very nice for work but not boring at all, at least for me :D I mixed a rosy beige color with a metallic silver to get this franken. What do you think about it?

My Nails Today: Nicole by OPI Sea How Far You Go

I am so excited to share with you this color today. It is so beautiful and I'm in love with it: Nicole by OPI Sea How Far You Go...Nice name :) The color is a greenish gold color which reflects purple/grey sometimes. The pictures below show two coats + a top coat (I think it was Revlon quick dry top coat). It lasted me quite a long time too, 3-4 days without chipping. I love this color in the sun so much :)

What do you think about "Sea How Far You Go"?

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencils, Purple Velvet, Cottage Cheese and Iced Mocha

I have been loving cream eyeshadows lately. I don't know why. I keep going back to them. I guess their colors are very attractive. This post is about the very famous NYX jumbo eye pencils. These are very soft and creamy. They have a range of colors and I am showing here the colors I have: Purple Velvet, Cottage Cheese, and Iced Mocha. They are not expensive and can be found in some drug stores and on Cherryculture.com which is where I bought them.

These do crease though and you have to put a primer underneath and use a thin layer of the cream color so they hold a little bit longer. But don't you agree that the colors are very beautiful. I'll leave you with the pictures now :)

Franken #5: Trying to dupe Essie Demure Vixen

For this Franken, I was trying to dupe Essie Demure Vixen which I don't own. What do you think? Is it close? I mixed a lot of things into this one that I don't have a recipe...I will leave you with the pictures now :)

ELF Studio Cream Eyeshadows #2

Hi there my lovely readers. This is the second set of cream eye shadows that I got from eyeslipsface.com. These are newer shades. The lasting power is not that great for me. I have to wear a primer underneath but the colors are very pretty...

(L-R) Teal Party, Purple Pleaser, Pewter, Smoke

Smoke is a gunmetal shimmery grey color. A basic color but very beautiful on the eyes.

This is Pewter which is a greyish taupe color. I love this one too for a subtle neutral look.

Purple Pleaser is a cool toned blueish medium purple. I don't like it so much on my eye.

Teal Party is a gorgeous teal color with golden shimmer. It is a beautiful color but personally I would not wear it as often as smoke or pewter.

(L-R) Teal party, Purple Pleaser, Pewter, Smoke

Overall I love them. These do not have the same funky smell which the older colors had but the formula is otherwise pretty much the same. What do you think about these colors?

Franken #4:Gorgeous Leaves

Hi there my lovely readers. Today's Franken is not exactly a unique color but I saw similar colors in many recent collections. It's a muted sage green with pink and golden shimmer. I love it so much on my nails and I think it is perfect for fall. Anyway, I can't find a cute name for it. I am very bad with names :( Can you suggest?

I think it has some or all of these: NYC flat iron green, L.A. Girl Intimate, Sally Hansen Nude Shimmer, some pink glitter flex polish and some TKB Trading Starlight Gold mica. What do you think about it?

Franken #3: Dusty Pink and Red Rock Glitter

Today I will show you two frankens that I created a month ago or so. The first one is a dusty pink which does not look anything special but it has a purple duo-chrome look which appears in the sun. I had no chance to take pictures in the sun of this one so the pictures do not show the duo-chrome effect. The second color is a beautiful blue toned red jelly with red, blue and hot pink glitter.

Honestly I don't like these too very much. I have more interesting and beautiful colors that I will show you next. Wait for them :)

ELF Eyelid primer: Sheer, Champagne and Golden

Hi there,

This is a quick post about the ELF $1 eyelid primer. They now have different colors. I have: Sheer, Champagne and Golden.
(Top to Bottom): Sheer, Champagne and Golden

Golden (top), Champagne (right), Sheer (left)

The colors are nice but I have very oily eyelids and almost everything creases. These crease on me in 2 hours or so :( What do you think about them? Have you tried any?

Franken # 2: Enchanting Olive

Hi my lovely reader. Today's Franken is very hard to describe and I am not sure if I can recreate it again. It is not exactly an olive green nor a forest green. It is laced with pretty golden shimmers and it looks beautiful. If you like green polish then you'll like these pictures :)

Do you like it? Do you think you can wear this color? Let me know :)

Nail Art Experiments #1

Hi there :) These are pictures of some nail art experiments I tried a while ago. Let me know what you think :)

Sponging gold acrylic paint on a chocolate brown base with golden glitter top coat...

Watermelon design. It's inspired by a number of similar designs I saw on youtube...

Background rainbow colored pigments sponging on a white base. Then some black zebra design on top using acrylic paint. It was a bit  smudged when I added a top coat :( This design is also inspired by some youtube tutorials but I used TKB trading mica pop pigments instead of regular nail polish.

Hope you liked them...More to come ;)
